The following terms & conditions (further referred to as TERMS, CONDITIONS or TERMS & CONDITIONS) apply between you (otherwise referred to as the CUSTOMER) and SHANTEO on a purchase of items and they do not affect your statutory rights.

When purchasing an item through SHANTEO you undertake that such goods are for your private use only and are not for resale.

You guarantee that all details you provide to SHANTEO are accurate & the credit card you are using to cover payment of goods is your own.

You agree that the e-mail address you provide can be used as a means of communication between you and SHANTEO that may include promotional information.

It is your responsibility to keep your username and password safe.

SHANTEO reserves the right to terminate your access to the site immediately if you breach any of our terms & conditions.

If you break these conditions

You agree that if you break these conditions, you will be responsible for any costs incurred by us as a result of this breach.

Ordering

– When placing an order, you agree that any information given is accurate and complete.

– All orders are subject to availability and prior confirmation.

– Prices quoted are in Euro and are inclusive of VAT.

– No contract will exist between you and SHANTEO until we officially accept your order by sending a confirmation e-mail of your purchase.

– You must check the confirmation e-mail and contact us immediately should any of the details be incorrect.

– Discount vouchers cannot be used on sale products.

Delivery

The delivery method of goods will be stated on the confirmation e-mail. Should any problems arise, you will be contacted immediately and will be informed of the situation.

Substitution

In the event of supply difficulties, we reserve the right to cancel the sale or substitute any item or packaging of equal value and quality.

Age Restriction on Purchases

By placing an order, you confirm that you and the recipient are both over the age of 18 (eighteen).  If you are under 16, you are not permitted to use this website.

Cancelling of orders

If you have not yet submitted your order, you can empty your shopping cart at any time.

Returns

If your order has been processed and delivered, you can claim a refund on non-food items within 15 (fifteen) calendar days provided the goods being returned are in the exact same condition that they were delivered to you (meaning unused and packaged as when being sold) and with the tags intact. Submitting a claim for refund shall not constitute immediate acceptance and/or satisfaction of such claim.

You are to return such goods at our SHANTEO outlet at Le Meridien Hotel St Julian’s Malta and should present the confirmation of the order and valid receipt.

Privacy

Liability

We do not accept liability for any errors in our website and reserve the right to amend any information at any time. We have taken every measure possible to ensure that what you see is what you get, however, due to certain factors, such as different internet browsers, monitor colour contrast etc, as well as naturally occurring variations of the product colour and shape, we cannot be held responsible for any such differences between the image and the actual product. 

As already mentioned, we have taken every measure to ensure the safety of the information collected but we cannot be held liable in the extremely unlikely event of a breach in our security.
